Families fall apart – a poem

Families and relationships begin with birds in the heart,
Everything goes straight
Then one day everything is not right,
valves in pipes
until the tube wall disintegrates.
And how did we not feel that it was on its way?
Everything was so normal.
and only in secret,
Demons have poured acid into the delicate fabric of relationships.
Then one day, the fragments are scattered.
And grief has no end and our throats are choked with grief.
